Journeyman Electrician

POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of our client Cornell Feenstra Electric is seeking a highly organized and motivated Journeyman Electrician who would like to be a part of a dynamic team who is looking to continue to grow and meet our clients needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and repairs in commercial, Industrial and Agriculture settings. This is a full-time position based in Ontario, Canada.

What you will do:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment according to local electrical codes and standards.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose electrical problems, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Valid 309A Journeyman Electrician license in Ontario, Canada.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial, commercial, and agricultural settings.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience diagnosing electrical systems and resolving electrical problems.
• Strong commitment to following electrical safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid Ontario G driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
