Ce poste est offert à temps plein ou à temps partiel.

Aperçu
Leurs principales responsabilités sont les suivantes:
Installer, faire fonctionner, entretenir et réparer des groupes électrogènes mobiles, des groupes électrogènes de centrales, et des générateurs de force motrice liés à l'équipement du génie construction
Installer, faire fonctionner, entretenir et réparer des systèmes statiques d'alimentation sans coupure et des systèmes rotatifs d'alimentation sans coupure
Réviser des systèmes et de l'équipement de production d'électricité
Produire des dessins électriques et mécaniques
Faire des travaux de brasage/soudage et d'usinage

Ce poste s'apparente aux métiers suivants :
Opérateur·rice de centrale électrique
Mécanicien·ne industriel
Électrotechnicien·ne industriel
Technicien·ne certifié·e en génie (mécanique/électrique)
Pour pouvoir vous enrôler dans les FAC, vous devez :
posséder la citoyenneté canadienne ou être résident permanent vivant au Canada;
avoir au moins 18 ans (17 ans avec le consentement parental) sauf pour :
les programmes d'études subventionnées – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents);
la Première réserve – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents) et être aux études à temps plein;
avoir terminé sa 10 année ou son 4 secondaire au Québec (certains postes demandent un niveau d'éducation plus élevé).
Études requises
Ce poste exige que les candidat·e·s aient terminé au minimum leur 10e année ou leur 4e secondaire au Québec, y compris le cours de mathématiques appliquées de 10e année ou le cours de mathématiques 416 / CST 4 au Québec.
Il est possible que les études à l'étranger soient reconnues.
Programme d'enrôlement direct
Aucune expérience professionnelle préalable ni aucune compétence liée à la carrière ne sont requises. Si vous possédez déjà un diplôme universitaire ou collégial, les FAC évalueront si votre programme d'études correspond aux critères de ce poste et une fois l'instruction de base réussie, peuvent vous placer directement dans le programme de formation en cours d'emploi adapté. L'instruction de base doit avoir été suivie avant l'affectation.
