Shape the future of technology with Toast as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in full-stack development. Toast seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and execute robust backend services and responsive web interfaces. You will manage the lifecycle of product features using Java or Kotlin, along with modern frameworks like React and TypeScript. Your leadership will drive excellence in team collaboration and system reliability across Toast’s tech landscape. Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
Build responsive web interfaces with modern frameworks
Lead product development from conceptualization to execution
Advocate for best coding practices and systems observability
Mentor engineers and elevate product quality across teams

Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, React, and TypeScript
Strong understanding of web architecture and API design
Experience with relational databases or NoSQL
Ability to solve complex problems in collaborative settings
