Job Summary:

Responsible for assembling production aircraft according to established standards.

Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience:

Educational or Academic Requirements:

• Manufacture aircraft components and complete builds in accordance with technical data (work order, drawing, and process specification) to meet production schedule and quality standards.
• Assemble and fit prefabricated parts to form subassemblies, working at benches or directly on an aircraft structure.
• Check aircraft assemblies, using measuring and testing equipment, for adherence to engineering specifications.
• Install/Modify aircraft flight controls, fuel system, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues found during manufacturing process.
• Complete detailed inspection documentation
• Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a related position
• Aviation experience considered an asset.
• Possess basic measuring and calculating skills.
• Possess excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Attentive to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent
