Your Role
We are looking for highly skilled and organized Enterprise Architect with deep subject matter expertise in media systems Architecture for one of our downtown Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal Office locations.Reporting to the Director of Media Systems Architecture, you will be responsible for establishing an unified technological vision by understanding media production processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions that deliver business value.As part of the Architecture and Strategic Development (ASD) Department you will leave your mark by driving the shift from hardware-centric infrastructure to software-centric media production architecture.You will enjoy innovative work in a creative and dynamic work environment, working with leading technologies and opportunities for continued professional development.How will you make an impact?
As An Enterprise Architect, You Will
Define and promote a common vision of Enterprise Architecture and establish clear direction on roles, responsibilities and priorities with stakeholders.Lead the evolution of the Enterprise Architecture practice and drive the shift from hardware-centric infrastructure to software-centric media production architecture.Define the strategy to connect Production systems with data governance,risk management, information security to monitor its implementation and effectiveness.Participate in designing, documenting and communicating the current and target state architectures for major initiatives and other vendor-driven system replacements.Document the High Level Architecture that outlines the structure, components, and relationships between business processes, data, applications and technology infrastructure.Ensure that enterprise investments align with business goals and objectives.Ensure that architectural decisions align with organizational policies, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Help establish and enforce architecture governance processes and standards.Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their potential for the organization.Coach and mentor other architects, product owners/managers and business stakeholders to instill architectural thinking.Build and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders.Perks You Can Look Forward To

What you bring to our team
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or computer science,Professional Engineer a definite asset.Five or more years of enterprise or systems architecture and/or business experience in strategic and operations planning.Ten or more years of experience in solution or technical architecture and application developmentKnowledge of production systems ecosystems such as Playout, editing systems, Cloud Platforms, On-prem and hybrid solutions.Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models and frameworks.Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric.Effective leadership skills with strong soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.Desired Skills
