Nuclear Applications Engineering Manager at ATS
ATS Industrial Automation Inc.
Lead nuclear application engineering at ATS Industrial Automation as a Manager. Oversee automation tooling proposals, team development, and customer engagement in a hybrid work model. As the Manager for Nuclear Applications Engineering, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring proposals align with customer requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate with sales and operations teams to enhance bid competitiveness and direct ongoing initiative improvements. Focus on capacity building and performance monitoring to support business growth and innovation in automation technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer RFQs and assign opportunities
- Approve technical concepts prior to costing
- Engage cross-functional teams for complex opportunities
- Ensure compliance with proposals and contract reviews
- Monitor key performance indicators for quality and responsiveness
- Degree in mechanical design or engineering
- 10+ years in engineering or automation, 5+ years in management
- Proven experience in regulated engineering environments
- Strong leadership skills across distributed teams
- Familiarity with JD Edwards and SolidWorks is an asset
