Applications Engineer for Nuclear Solutions

Contribute your expertise as an Applications Engineer, supporting nuclear reactor designs and instrumentation for In-Core Instrumentation (ICI). Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure safe and efficient reactor operations. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge for sales proposals in the nuclear industry, focusing on core instrumentation and sensors. With a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, you will utilize over five years of experience to engage customers and refine proposals. You'll also work closely with design and manufacturing teams to develop compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support for reactor core instruments
- Engage with customers to navigate design specifications
- Review and develop conceptual designs and BOMs
- Collaborate with engineering on safety compliance
- Prepare technical content for proposals and quotes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably ME, EE, or Nuclear)
- 5+ years of nuclear engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in 3D CAD and Microsoft Office
