Who are we?
We are a local engineering firm that has been helping clients across all industries with engineering, operations and maintenance since 1994. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Participate in defining projects and developing solutions during conceptual, preliminary and detailed engineering
• Prepare design basis documents, mass and energy balances, process simulations, process flow diagrams and P&IDs
• Perform hydraulic calculations and select and size equipment, instruments and piping
• Prepare reports, calculation notes, data sheets and other process deliverables
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and multidisciplinary coordination
• Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and compliance with project hour budgets and schedules
• Mentor and provide technical supervision to less experienced engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline, combined with significant experience in process design
• Five to ten years of relevant experience in heavy industry, particularly in the refining, chemical and petrochemical sectors and/or consulting engineering

• Autonomy and technical rigour
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced colleagues

Assets:

• Knowledge of Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, AFT, Pipe-Flo or Aspen EDR
• Available for occasional short-term travel within Canada (one to two weeks)
• Experience in process safety, including HAZOP studies or process safety management.
• Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate in French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients based in Quebec.
