Obstetrician/Gynecologist Faculty Position

Join a newly redeveloped West Lincoln Memorial Hospital as a full-time Obstetrician and Gynecologist. This role focuses on gynecological surgery and teaching future medical professionals. WLMH, affiliated with McMaster University, is seeking two full-time generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologists. As part of the faculty, you’ll be responsible for low-risk pregnancies and high-volume surgical procedures while collaborating with family physicians and midwives in the community. This role offers a chance to impact both clinical practice and education. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage low-risk obstetric cases and gynecological care
• Perform surgical procedures in a high-volume setting
• Provide consulting support to local healthcare providers
• Teach medical students and trainees
• Engage in the hospital’s maternal-and-newborn care programs

Requirements:

• FRCSC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for practicing in Ontario
• Proven teaching commitment
• Master's degree qualification preferred
• Fulfill credentialing requirements of Hamilton Health Sciences
