Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Student Finance Planner to join our team. This entry-level, full-time role plays a vital part in helping students understand and manage their educational finances. It's a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the post-secondary education sector.

This position is on-site in either Calgary or Edmonton , working evening shifts to meet the needs of our student body.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students with questions about tuition fees, payment plans, financial aid, and scholarships
• Guide students through the student loan application and repayment processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and process student payments
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure financial communication is timely and accurate
• Address student inquiries with empathy and professionalism
• Assist with financial reporting and administrative support tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of a college diploma in business, finance, administration, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general administrative software
• Experience in customer service or finance roles is an asset
• Familiarity with provincial student loan programs is a strong advantage
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift : Evenings, Monday to Friday
• Hours : 8-hour shifts
• Compensation : $40,000-$45,000 per year + bonus pay
• Job Type : Full-time, in-person
