MySwatches is a color analysis brand helping women discover the colors that flatter them most. Our color analysts find each customer's color palette, and we send them physical cards with their colors.

We're a small, fast-moving team that's always learning and improving, and we want someone who'll grow with us. 

You'd be part of our team, not a one-off contractor gig. long-term, cares about the company, and takes pride in their work.

We're hiring a short-form Performance Video Editor to create high-converting Meta/Facebook ads. 

Using our briefs and scripts, you'll turn raw UGC, product footage, and testimonials into ads with proper pacing that grab attention, hold retention, and convert.

If you don't think you could make something similar or make something better, this won't be a good fit.

This is a full-time OR part time , ongoing remote role. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.

Who you are:

- A creative person with new ideas and ways to turn words into visuals. 

- You can take footage and a brief and carry it to a finished ad.

- Cares about the small details: subtitle timing, cuts landing on the beat, clean text placement, sound and music synced, smooth transitions.

- Works quickly without losing quality.

- Open to feedback and learning new things.

What you'll do:

- Take a brief we give you and turn it into a story using clips, animations, and visuals.

- Cut raw creator footage, testimonials, and product shots into scroll-stopping vertical ads (Reels, Shorts, and similar).

- Add captions, motion graphics, titles, and branded elements native to each platform.

- Make iterations of an ad with the same idea, explained/shown a new way.

- make new edits and versions of winning concepts.

- Do learning and feedback loops with the team, understanding why an ad worked or didn't.

Must-haves:

-Good English (writing and speaking).

-Strong in Premiere Pro or CapCut.

-Real experience editing engaging short-form video (IG Reels, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook ads).

-Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, timing and clip selection.

-A portfolio, Google Drive, website, or link showing your actual editing work.

Nice to have:

-Facebook ads experience (if you've edited other short-form content, this isn't required).

-Used AI tools like Higgsfield, Nano, Kling, etc.
