Moderna seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist for its Laval manufacturing site to provide real-time quality oversight and flexible operational support. The role involves manufacturing execution monitoring, documentation control, training administration, and quality decision-making within delegated authority, with potential shift-work scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure
- Manage level 1 and 2 incidents, service requests, performance issues; escalate complex problems appropriately
- Support routing, switching, firewall, wireless, VPN, WAN circuits, CASB, Zero Trust, cloud connectivity environments
- Conduct initial triage, packet analysis, log review, root cause analysis for connectivity and application access problems
- Participate in changes, upgrades, configuration updates, maintenance activities following change management processes
Requirements
- 3-5 years network engineering, operations, infrastructure support or related technical role
- Fluent in French and English for cross-regional team and partner interactions
- Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, network security
- Hands-on enterprise network environment support including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, WAN, remote access
- Troubleshooting experience with connectivity, latency, routing, firewall policies, application access issues
- Knowledge of routing protocols and technologies: OSPF, BGP, static routing, IPsec VPN, SD-WAN, high-availability architectures
- Experience with network monitoring, logging, observability tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, PRTG
