Elevate the food system as a Senior Data Engineering Manager at TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods by leading the Data and Analytics Platform Engineering team. Your visionary approach will guide analytics solutions development. In this pivotal role, you'll direct multiple engineering teams to ensure the delivery of enterprise-grade solutions and adherence to best coding practices. You will also facilitate technology exploration and participate in the strategic decision-making process at the executive level to harmonize technical strategies with business needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct engineering teams for high-quality analytics solution output
- Maintain stringent code review and testing processes
- Foster exploration of current technologies among teams
- Manage large-scale engineering project delivery
- Contribute to executive strategic discussions
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years in management of engineering teams
- Experience with distributed systems architecture
- Solid expertise in performance monitoring techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in technical innovation
