Job Responsibility: Position Information Position Title Part-Time Academic - HESA 6305 Analyzing the Outcomes of Healthcare - Fall 2025 Posting Number PTAP2894P Department/Unit School of Health Administration Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities The Sessional Lecturer will teach a one-half credit, graduate-level course, HESA 6305: Analyzing the Outcomes of Healthcare, in the Master of Health Administration program during the fall term (September to December 2025). Please refer to the Dalhousie University Academic Calendar for the course description. Responsibilities include: all aspects of teaching and administering the course; course preparation including course content for lectures, test/assignments/exam preparation and evaluation/marking of student course work, as well as, providing tutorial support to students. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course. The position reports to the Director of the School. Qualifications/Requirements of Position A master's degree in health administration or relevant equivalent is required along with a minimum of five years work experience in the health sector. Experience as a mid to senior administrator in healthcare would be viewed favourably. Previous teaching experience is a strong asset. Experience with Brightspace is preferred.
