Job Responsibility:
We are a well-known trucking company and are currently seeking a Full-Time Transportation Billing Agent for our head office in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of administrative experience and possess strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. This is an in-office position
Responsibilities and Duties
- Creating and issuing invoices to customers via email & customer portals
- Follow up with drivers regarding missing required customer documents
- Audit incoming documents and perform data updates to ensure accuracy
- Scan, file and log accounting documents
- Identify billing problems, determine root cause, and settle on course of action via communication with clients/ dispatchers/ carriers about billing discrepancies and questions
Requirements
The successful candidate must have the following skills and abilities:
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
- Ability to multi-task and display an exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and word) with an ability to quickly learn new software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
