Senior Enterprise Risk Management Advisor

Shape enterprise risk oversight through strategic analysis and governance advice as a Senior Risk Management Advisor supporting Desjardins entities. Influence complex decisions across diverse contributors.As a senior advisor, you partner with chief risk officers and senior management on financial and non-financial risks. You develop recommendations, approaches, directions, and practices that strengthen risk management frameworks. Your work spans operational, regulatory, and conceptual challenges requiring strong business understanding. You also advise decision-making bodies and business partners on strategic, regulatory, and organizational matters.Key Responsibilities:
Provide consolidated views of financial and non-financial risksPartner with chief risk officers on strategic mattersPrepare meetings with decision-making bodies and regulatorsCoordinate statutory and regulatory risk management requirementsMonitor mitigation measures, action plans, and industry developmentsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldMinimum eight years of relevant experienceExperience within the three lines of defence modelStrategic advisory experience with management, bodies, and regulatorsStrong French and intermediate advanced English communication skillsBring strategic judgment, risk expertise, and clear communication to Desjardins entities facing complex governance challenges.
