Registered Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

We Innovate so You Can Focus on Patient Care

Join Our Team at Murphy's Pharmacies!

At Murphy's Pharmacies, we're redefining the role of independent Community pharmacy in our healthcare system, and we're looking for passionate Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team and make our shared vision come to life!

We've been Island family-owned and operated for over 44 years, with locations across Prince Edward Island and beyond.

Re-energize your professional career!

• We Focus on Patient Care: We've implemented central fill to process refills, built support teams that do prescription data entry and clinical validation, handle phone calls and schedule pharmacy services appointments. With this support, Pharmacy Technicians play a key role in client care at the highest scope possible - without big corporate pressures over professional practice.

• Work-Life Balance:  We're not open late or have extended hours on weekends, so our teams can enjoy everything that life has to offer on beautiful Prince Edward Island.

If you're a like-minded Registered Pharmacy Technician who wants to make a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you!

What You Will Bring To The Team

Our team is client-focused and believes in a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion. We value diverse backgrounds and what that brings to our team and we want to hear more about what makes you unique.

In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:

1. Pharmacy technician license recognized in PEI or another Canadian Province
2. A passion for community pharmacy practice
3. Dedication to client care and making people's lives better

Your Role

• Collaborating with other team members and prescribers to provide a timely, high-quality healthcare service delivery and an exceptional client experience, and

• Utilizing your full scope of practice, including vaccine administration

What We Offer

We offer a very competitive compensation package that includes a pension plan, comprehensive health, mental health, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Additionally, we provide a subsidized fitness membership and exclusive discounts with local companies, helping you save on meals, retail products, and home heating oil. Please note that the level of benefits will depend on whether your employment with us is on a temporary or permanent basis.

We may not be perfect, but we strive to create a supportive and rewarding work environment. We're proud to say that many of our team members have been with us for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and even 40 years.
