Backend Developer for Storycraft Startup

Storycraft Games

Become a founding Backend Developer at Storycraft and help create scalable servers for an innovative mobile game. Engage in design, API development, and cloud environment configuration. As part of the founding team, you will play a critical role in shaping the architecture and culture at Storycraft. Collaborate closely with the AI Developer and Senior Game Developer, ensuring seamless backend systems to enhance user experiences. Your expertise in multiplayer game server design and cloud configurations will be essential for our project’s success. Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable backend systems for gameplay
Create APIs tailored to our game design needs
Manage cloud hosting environments using Azure or GCP
Collaborate on AI model deployment strategies
Own devops processes including CI/CD and containerization

Requirements:

Proven experience as a senior backend developer
Proficient in TypeScript or C# server development
Experience with low-latency game server deployment
Security, reliability, and observability optimization skills
Familiarity with remote work culture and communication
