I am seeking a live-in, full-time companion and dementia caregiver who could assist an elderly family member with their day-to-day activities. The start date for the position is June 8th, 2026. The role would entail providing walks and company as well as specific Alzheimer/Dementia care and housekeeping duties. As part of the responsibility, you would be expected to perform tasks like meal planning/preparation, cleaning bathrooms, and assisting with pet care. Formal training or prior experience of working with dementia patients is preferred. It's a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a compassionate, patient and understanding individual. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, including the morning and middle of the day shifts. You would be needed for 40-50 hours per week. Please note that having a driver's license is not a requirement for this job role. Additionally, the position does not involve any automobile use. This is a full-time, live-in position, but I would also welcome those who prefer a live-out arrangement.
