Bilingual Communications Coordinator at NPF

Elevate your career with the National Police Federation as a Bilingual Media Relations/Communications Coordinator. Support vital media initiatives and member communications while working remotely across Canada. As a Bilingual Media Relations/Communications Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in managing communications initiatives, media relations, and social media planning. Collaborating with internal teams and colleagues nationwide, you'll ensure effective information delivery while supporting approximately 20,000 RCMP Members. Your adeptness in both internal and external communications will enhance public safety efforts and advocacy for the NPF. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare metrics on media coverage and sentiment
- Draft press releases and media materials
- Monitor traditional and social media for emerging issues
- Track media inquiries and support the Media Relations Lead
- Create and schedule social media content
- Diploma in Communications or related field
- 2+ years in corporate communications and media relations
- Bilingualism is essential
- Strong knowledge of Canadian media landscape
- Familiarity with Mailchimp and Microsoft Office tools
