Electronics Technician

DP World is looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to take on the exciting and rewarding challenge to be part of the operations team at a technology warehouse, in Brampton, Ontario. 

In this position you will work collaboratively across the different Departments and with all members of the management and warehouse team. If you think that you would be a good fit, we would be excited to meet you!

The successful person will be an energetic, customer focused, self-starter who has previous warehouse experience.

Rate of Pay: 23.50

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Ensure all test rigs are running smoothly day to day with minimal/no downtime e.g. start-ups, daily inspections, troubleshooting, golden test, etc.
• Make sure the test rigs will get the Preventive Maintenance as indicated on the PM label attached to the test rig.
• Communicate and give regular feedback to the R&D Engineer, Test Supervisor, Test Engineer, Operations Manager, and all other stakeholders as required.
• Continuously troubleshoot the rigs and proactively search for improvements and solutions.
• Hit the daily productivity targets assigned to the area/commodity line.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma; Prefer Associate Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer)
• At least 2 years of electronic repair experience
• Soldering
• Networking
• Board level repair
• ESD Principles
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electronics diagnostic equipment.
