Walmart Canada is seeking a Food Lead Department Manager in Vegreville, Alberta. This Regular/Permanent position supports the leadership of the Food departments through partnership with the Food Assistant Manager, ensuring high levels of customer service and task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting with product/service promotion, locating merchandise, and resolving customer issues
• Assist in providing direction and co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food Assistant Manager and Store Management Team
• Assess overall presentation of Food Departments, note deficiencies for corrective action, and execute merchandising display changes where required
• Delegate, assist, and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks
• Support with scheduling as needed and assign associates for coverage and availability tasks across all areas of the store
• Participate in the training and development of Food Associates and provide feedback as needed
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including completion of safety sweep logs

Morning, afternoons, evenings, nights

Pay

Minimum starting rate of $19.25/hour
