Our company is a growing sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication company that has operated in Penticton, British Columbia since 2002. Known for precision and reliability, our team fabricates custom aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components while continuing to improve and expand our manufacturing processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components using schematics, technical drawings, and job instructions.
• Perform GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
• Operate CNC cutting equipment, shears, press brakes, machining equipment, and powered hand tools.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance with applicable codes, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot fabrication, equipment, and production issues using sound mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least one year of welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding processes. Aluminum welding experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.
• Working knowledge of fabrication equipment, welding standards, and safe shop practices.
• Strong  mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Welding certification or relevant vocational training is an asset.

Work Location

This is an in-person position located on Okanagan Avenue East in Penticton, BC. Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
