Position Title: Team Lead, Technical Development (Power Platform & Custom Applications)

The Power Platform and Custom Applications Team Lead will provide technical leadership and solution oversight for our recently live Accounts Payable (AP) Automation platform and related custom application modernization initiatives. This role requires a strong conceptual and architectural understanding of the Power Platform, Azure, AI‑enabled solutions, and modern cloud application stacks, and leads a diverse development team across technologies such as .NET, Azure, PHP, RPA, and custom applications.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Technical Leadership & Solution Oversight
    • Design, develop, and provide technical leadership for the AP Automation solution built on Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and AI-enabled components.
    • Act as a solution authority during design discussions, technical reviews, and enhancement planning.
    • Understand and articulate end‑to‑end solution architecture, integrations, data flows, security models, and DevOps processes.
    • Participate in technical decision‑making, architecture reviews, and cross‑team design forums.
    • Ensure solutions align with the organization’s modernization roadmap, including cloud adoption across Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Power Platform & AI Focus
    • Lead and guide teams working on Power Apps (Model‑driven and Canvas apps), Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), Dataverse, and Power Platform governance, security, and ALM.
    • Provide oversight and guidance on AI‑enabled solutions, including Azure AI / Cognitive Services, AI Builder, and AI‑assisted business processes.
    • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security best practices are followed.
  • Power Platform Security & Governance
    • Understand and enforce Power Platform security roles, environment segregation (DEV / TEST / PROD), DLP policies, and connector governance.
    • Ensure implementations align with enterprise security and compliance standards, especially for finance‑related solutions such as AP Automation.
    • Champion DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, code versioning, release management, and monitoring.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring
    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers across .NET, Azure Functions, PHP, RPA, and custom application development.
    • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and career development support.
    • Support workload planning, task prioritization, and technical alignment across projects.
    • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross‑skill understanding within the team.
    • Engage in modernization discussions across Microsoft Azure and AWS‑hosted solutions.
  • Technical & Architectural Insight
    • Maintain a strong conceptual understanding of legacy and modern custom applications, integration patterns (API‑based, event‑driven, RPA‑assisted), and cloud‑native application design principles.
    • Explain technology choices, trade‑offs, and impacts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Core Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps (especially Model‑driven apps), Power Automate, Dataverse.
  • Azure services with a focus on AI‑enabled or model‑driven applications.
  • Enterprise integration concepts and automation platforms.
  • DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release governance.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead managing diverse technology stacks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience in software development, enterprise applications, or solution delivery.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience specializing in Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (Model‑driven and Canvas), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Platform ALM and governance.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $115,000 - $125,000 per year.
