Senior Construction Safety Advisor

Lead construction safety through risk assessment and regulatory compliance with ONxpress Civils on the GO Expansion Program. This position is a backfill role.The Senior Safety Advisor supports railway and civil construction projects within the ONxpress Civils Contractor General Partnership. You will assess hazards, deliver safety training, investigate incidents, and collaborate on health and safety plans. The work supports Metrolinx agreements and GO Transit network modernization.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive construction site risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsProvide safety training for workers and site managersInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, and document findingsConduct inspections, audits, and corrective action recommendationsRequirements:
Three to seven years in construction health and safetyDiploma or degree in occupational health and safetyValid G-class driver's licenseStrong knowledge of the Health and Safety ActNCSO certification completed or in progress considered an assetBring construction safety, compliance, training, and investigation expertise to ONxpress Civils and GO Transit modernization projects.
