Financial Secretary Hampton Free Methodist Church
The Financial Secretary for the Hampton Free Methodist Church (HFMC) is responsible for handling the ongoing financial records and processes of HFMC. The contract is for 16 hours/month at a rate of $25.00/hr. The financial secretary will make arrangements with the pastors and treasurer to have weekly communication with the office. Extra hours will be allocated for the busier seasons of Budget, Audit, and Preschool launch. The Financial Secretary will be responsible for the regular financial duties of the church. - Reviewing and accepting e-transfers to the church- Oversee the deposits and documents made by the Head Teller
- Make bill payments and document them in Quickbooks
- Post Transactions
- Reconcile PAR changes
- Create monthly reports for the Board to review
- Document all transactions in Quickbooks
- Bank Reconciliations
- Reconciliation of GL accounts
- Manage WCB payroll reports
- GST Rebate applications
- Compile the annual budget
- Direct charitable funds to the correct places
- Prepare records for the annual audit The Financial Secretary must be able to represent HFMC to outside companies and individuals with integrity and reflect our mission and values. Financial Secretary shall represent the Hampton Free Methodist Church by maintaining a positive and professional attitude. The Financial Secretary will report to the Treasurer of the Board.
