Student Grocery Clerk

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of part-time Student Grocery Clerks (2 Positions) at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, pack groceries, stock and face shelves, cart retrieval.
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, bins and displays as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow FIFO.
Maintain a constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required including lifting of 25-50lbs, climbing ladders and kneeling.
You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
