NIGHT AUDITOR

The night auditor is responsible for ensuring the safety of the establishment and the guests from 11 PM to 7 AM. Additionally, he or she performs the daily financial close and welcomes guests arriving late in the evening and departing early in the morning.  

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and Front Desk Supervisor , the essential responsibilities and functions of the position are:

·  Embrace and bring the Manoir concept to life by doing everything possible to provide guests with a quality experience that meets their expectations.

· Process guest check-ins and billing.

· Answer phone calls and emails, book stays, and promote hotel services (restaurant and spa) as well as activities offered in the area; in collaboration with the Concierge.

· Classify transactions carried out during the day.

· Balance accounts and close cash registers at the front desk and various points of sale.

· Prepare the internal deposit.

· Maintain the customer database.

· Produce the daily revenue report.

· Produce and submit auxiliary reports to management.

· Carry out front desk attendant duties during the night.

· Adhere to the hotel’s internal policies, procedures, and standards.

Perform any other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.

· Professional and neat appearance;

· Bilingualism (French, English) for an International clientele;

· College diploma in hospitality or tourism, an asset; 

· Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; 

· Certification and training in CPR, an asset;

· Ability to lift loads of 20 kg to assist guests with their luggage, if needed;

- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
