Analyze structured and unstructured data using actuarial, statistical, and machine learning methods. Your work will serve pricing, corporate actuarial, commercial, underwriting, and innovation partners.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze structured and unstructured data from varied sourcesConduct research projects for internal insurance partnersAdvise on insurance solutions and strategic projectsCommunicate assumptions and results to managementRepresent actuarial services in committees and working groupsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statisticsAt least six years of relevant property and casualty experienceQuantitative specialization through certificate, master’s, or PhDExpertise in regression, decision trees, and gradient boostingAdvanced Python or R and SQL or SAS proficiencyApply actuarial expertise, advanced analytics, and predictive modelling to strategic insurance projects with Desjardins’ internal partners.
