Lead cloud infrastructure operations at Empire Life using AWS, GCP, or Azure expertise and hands-on systems administration experience. Support hybrid environments and operational resilience.As Cloud Operations Lead, you will provide technical leadership across cloud operations, infrastructure management, incidents, vulnerabilities, automation, and process improvement. The position requires experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux or Windows, enterprise networking, and scripting. You will coordinate with Production Support, Development, DevOps, and Enterprise Security teams. Empire Life is hiring for its IT Services team and seeks candidates with demonstrated leadership in IT operations, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
Guide, mentor, and support Cloud Operators and system administratorsOversee cloud resource deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoringLead responses to alerts, outages, and performance degradationAutomate workflows using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and IaCConduct root cause analysis and implement recurrence controlsRequirements:
Five or more years in IT operations or cloud infrastructureHands-on AWS, GCP, or Azure expertiseDocker, Kubernetes, networking, operating systems, and scripting knowledgeExperience with monitoring, Sumo Logic, and JiraDegree, diploma, or equivalent practical technical experienceApply cloud leadership, automation, incident management, and infrastructure expertise to support Empire Life’s operational environments.
