Independent Dentist at SLFNHA

Join SLFNHA’s Oral Health Services in Sioux Lookout, Ontario as an independent Dentist. Deliver comprehensive oral health care in a culturally sensitive environment for First Nation clients. This independent contractor role provides a unique opportunity to enhance oral health access for Northwestern Ontario's First Nations populations. You will work in a fully equipped dental clinic featuring modern facilities, including four operatories and digital charting. Ideal candidates are experienced, patient-focused, and able to provide high-quality care to clients of all ages. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive dental care to diverse clients
• Collaborate with SLFNHA’s oral health team
• Administer minimal nitrous where necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records digitally
• Provide specialized treatments based on patient needs

Requirements:

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• General Dentist License in good standing
• Minimum two years of clinical experience
• Experience with First Nations communities
• Valid BLS Certificate and N95 mask fit certificate
