Senior Civil 3d Cad Technician

Use Civil 3D and AutoCAD to develop municipal infrastructure drawings in WSP’s Calgary office, supporting complex Alberta projects.As a Senior CADD Technician, you will prepare technical drawings for civil engineering, municipal, and land development projects. The work involves City of Calgary standards, Alberta Transportation requirements, MMCD, and TAC guidelines. You will coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and technical specialists across multidisciplinary design packages.Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed Civil 3D drawings for infrastructure projectsPrepare grading, utilities, pond, stormwater, and block profile plansInterpret engineering markups, criteria, standards, and field dataCoordinate multidisciplinary inputs into clear design packagesComplete drawing checks, revisions, and design updatesRequirements:
Eight or more years of CAD drafting and design experienceStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3DKnowledge of City of Calgary design standardsExperience with municipal or related infrastructure environmentsAbility to lead technicians on larger projectsBring advanced Civil 3D drafting, municipal standards, and infrastructure coordination expertise to WSP projects throughout Calgary and Alberta.
