Guide strategic finance at PulseMedica in Edmonton, using financial modeling and forecasting to support the company’s growth. Hybrid work may be considered.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Finance develops financial frameworks for product development, clinical studies, regulatory approvals, and commercialization. The role partners with leadership on financial planning, cash management, fundraising, investor readiness, and strategic analysis. You will translate technical and operational plans into actionable financial insights.Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plansAssess scenarios, cash runway, funding needs, and financial risksSupport fundraising, financing discussions, and investor due diligenceOversee cash flow, payroll, reporting, controls, and auditsAdvise leaders and build the finance function as PulseMedica growsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related disciplineRequired CPA designationFive-plus years in financial planning, accounting, or strategic financeExperience with fundraising, financing, investor relations, or capital planningStrong modeling, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsBring strategic financial planning, fundraising support, and business partnership expertise to PulseMedica’s next stage of development.
