Senior Automation Engineer Toronto
Tetra Pak
Lead advanced automation engineering from Toronto with FactoryOS PLC, HMI, and electrical systems expertise. Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% as required.As Tetra Pak’s Senior Automation Engineer, you will provide customer-focused processing solutions and make technical decisions. You will lead automation standards compliance, project resources, PLC and HMI development, and commissioning. The role requires strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:
Develop project programs and engineering resource requirementsDesign and implement PLC, HMI, database, and reporting solutionsConfigure control systems, networks, panels, drives, and startersEnsure designs comply with UL508A and client standardsCommission systems and train customer personnelRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering10+ years’ processing area automation experienceHigh proficiency with Tetra Pak FactoryOS programmingFood or dairy industry experience requiredElectrical and pneumatic troubleshooting capability requiredApply senior automation leadership, FactoryOS expertise, and customer communication to food processing systems based in Toronto.
