Kitchen Helper

Job title: Kitchen Helper ( NOC 65201)

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Work hour: 8 hours/day. 40 hours/week . 5 days/week

Salary: $20.00/hour . Overtime $30 .00 after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week

Work location:225 Alaska Highway, Haines Junction,Yukon,Y0B 1L0

Job Duties:

• Wash and peel vegetables and fruits

• Help preparing cook

• Wash work tables, cupboards, and appliances

• Sweep, mop and wash floors according to standards

• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers

• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas

• Assist chef and other kitchen staff perform duties

• Operate dishwasher to wash dishes, glass and flatware

• Learn and help preparing Cantonese and western cuisines

Employment requirements

• Secondary school education

• On-the-job training and ability of handling kitchen-setting

• Understand basic food preparation and food safe knowledge

• Working in a fast-paced environment

Start date: As soon as possible

Language: Basic English communication skills
