Senior Hydrogeologist Water Resources

Use advanced groundwater investigation skills to guide Stantec’s Water Resources Group from a primarily office-based hybrid arrangement in British Columbia.This experienced Hydrogeologist serves as technical lead for a growing Hydrogeology Team connected to Stantec’s national groundwater network. You will remain involved in complex hydrogeological assessments while mentoring staff and supporting project delivery. Work spans mining, infrastructure, water supply, environmental assessment, permitting, and closure planning.Key Responsibilities:
Lead hydrogeological field programs and technical investigationsInterpret groundwater flow, recharge, and aquifer testing resultsProvide quality oversight for analyses and technical reportingCollaborate on integrated water management solutionsSupport client relationships, proposals, and business developmentRequirements:
Strong foundation in groundwater characterization and aquifer testingExperience overseeing drilling and monitoring well installationsExperience developing conceptual hydrogeological modelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMaster’s degree considered an assetBring hydrogeological interpretation, field-program leadership, and project management skills to Stantec’s multidisciplinary Canadian practice.
