Nanny Wanted - Kind Family Looking For A Caring Part Time Nanny For Our Curious 21 Month Old Daughter

We are a warm and welcoming family in Rosemère, Quebec, looking for a caring and engaging part-time nanny to care for our 21-month-old daughter. She is a curious and adventurous toddler who loves exploring, reading books, music, playing with balls, and spending time outdoors. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and believes in learning through play. Our ideal nanny is patient, kind, reliable, and attentive to our daughter's safety, well-being, and emotional development. We hope to find someone who will become a trusted part of our family's daily life. Your main responsibility will be caring for our daughter through age-appropriate play, outdoor time, reading, music, creative activities, and helping her continue to explore and learn in a nurturing and loving environment. We prioritize learning through play, spending time outdoors, books, music, and a screen-free environment. We're looking for someone who enjoys actively engaging with toddlers throughout the day and supporting their natural curiosity and development. Light child-related tasks are part of the role, including helping tidy and organize toys and play areas after activities. No general housekeeping is expected. We are a multicultural, trilingual family and value raising our daughter in a multilingual and multicultural environment. Ideally, we'd love our nanny to speak French or Portuguese with our daughter. However, finding the right person is more important to us than finding someone who speaks multiple languages. We are also happy to consider English-speaking candidates if they are the right fit for our family. The position is approximately 18 - 20 hours per week, and the schedule is somewhat flexible. It could look like either:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or
• Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We are happy to discuss the schedule with the right candidate. The start date is as soon as possible. We would love to make the transition comfortable for everyone, so if you're available to begin with shorter visits while our daughter gets to know you, that would be wonderful. The posted wage is $20/hour. However, compensation is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit, and we are happy to discuss a higher rate for the right candidate. This is a legal, declared position, and all hours will be paid through payroll.
