Lead payments resiliency at Scotiabank in Toronto, applying operational risk and payment-domain expertise within a standard office-based environment.As Manager, Payments Operational Resiliency, you will support and execute a global framework protecting critical payment services. The work covers technology disruptions, outages, attacks, and operational threats. You will strengthen anticipation and recovery while minimizing customer, financial, and reputational impact through documented preventative measures, testing, and cross-functional delivery.Key Responsibilities:
Execute and enhance the payments operational resiliency frameworkAssess processes, identify resiliency gaps, and drive improvementsMaintain documentation, playbooks, procedures, and testing artifactsPartner with operations, risk, compliance, AML, and incident responseLead assigned enterprise and regulatory resiliency workstreamsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentThree or more years in financial or operations managementKnowledge of wire payments, SWIFT, ISO20022, and RTGS modelsKnowledge of ACSS, EFTs, ACHs, Interac, and payment frameworksAgile mindset with collaboration and presentation skillsBring payments knowledge, operational risk awareness, and resiliency execution skills to Scotiabank’s Toronto-based global payments team.
