Regional Finance Manager, Nefab Canada

As Regional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for participating in defining the company’s strategic direction, assisting in managing the business planning cycle, and providing company and group management with relevant business information. The Finance Manager supports profitable growth of the Regional Business Unit by providing financial analysis, perspective and guidance while ensuring accuracy, integrity, efficient compilation and timely reporting of financial information.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting and finance related activities within the Regional Business Unit (RBU)
• Responsible for monthly closing and reporting of site(s) and region level financial statements and analysis within established guidelines and time requirements
• Leads the preparation, analysis and measurement of detailed forecast and budgets ensuring that they accurately reflect up-to-date business conditions
• Prepares for and participates in periodic Regional Business Unit Board meetings
• Performs financial analysis and develops related management reports in support of operational or functional areas
• Assists Region Management in maintaining tools and policies in support of sound pricing decisions and clear understanding of profitability by customer
• Work closely with site(s) and region management to identify and implement actions to improve operational and financial performance
• Ensures an adequate system of internal controls is in place to support safeguarding of Company assets and integrity of financial information
• Performs ad hoc analysis, presentations and other activities
• Adheres to ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures

This position is located in Peterborough, and you will report to the Regional Managing Director for Canada.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree with major in accounting, finance or equivalent in education and/or experience
• CPA Designation
• 3-7 years of hands-on managerial accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing setting is preferred
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong managerial and leadership abilities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to present on formal topics to a wide range of audiences
• Ability to objectively evaluate situations and collaboratively determine the best course of action for the company
• Mastery of Excel with strong financial modelling skills and proficient in MS Power Point and other MS Office applications
