Expected Start Date: August 21, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Emergence Medical Services - Regina City/Town: Regina Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 149.36 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: EMS Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job : The Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic is responsible for responding to emergent and non-emergent calls for service; provides initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons at the basic life support level. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Grade 12
- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Automated External Defibrillator Certificate (AED)
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
Other Education and Training
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
