Become an integral part of AgeCare as the Assistant Director of Care, ensuring exceptional resident support in long-term care. This role focuses on care evaluation, documentation compliance, and resident satisfaction. In this position, you will oversee the quality of care provided to residents by collaborating closely with the Registered Staff team and the RAI-MDS Coordinator. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with regulations through regular audits of care plans and documentation. You will also address resident and family concerns, ensuring their voices are heard and issues are resolved promptly. Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously evaluate residents’ care plans for accuracy
- Collaborate with the Registered Staff team for compliance
- Audit documentation in Point Click Care regularly
- Address resident or family concerns effectively
- Update care plans as required and ensure adherence
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Knowledge of relevant health regulations and Acts
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current certificate of competence as a Registered Nurse
