The Bell Canada Pension Group is seeking a Pension Manager to provide consulting services for a diverse clientele of business units within Bell Canada and its affiliates. This team oversees the design, administration, communications, registration and actuarial valuations of a multitude of pension plans with total assets exceeding $20 billion. The role involves ensuring the effective management of these pension plans, with a focus on long‑term sustainability and compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.Key Responsibilities
Actuarial valuations and IFRS accounting for pension plansPreparing and delivering presentations for various pension committeesParticipating in mandates related to asset liability managementParticipating in initiatives and communications related to accumulation plansCollaborating with external administrators to address day‑to‑day issues and operational requirementsCritical Qualifications
University degree in actuarial sciencesOver 5 years of related experience in pensions or actuarial consultingHold the fellowship designation of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA)Comprehensive understanding of pension plan design, regulations and administrationPreferred Qualifications
