Low Latency Crypto Trading Developer

Reduce tick-to-trade latency with Python, network tuning, and execution systems for a global proprietary trading firm’s crypto desk.This quant trading developer role owns the full path from infrastructure to live P&L across DEX and CEX venues. Primary work centers on Hyperliquid, including node synchronization, market-data handling, order signing, and submission. The position also covers systematic trading and real-time risk.Key Responsibilities:
Measure latency, jitter, throughput, and order round-trip performanceTune network connectivity, CPU usage, and asynchronous event loopsBuild execution infrastructure and self-hosted Hyperliquid nodesCreate latency analytics, kill switches, and position limitsTrade strategies while managing leverage, margin, and funding exposureRequirements:
Three-plus years of live quant or systematic prop tradingProven production record reducing execution latencyHands-on network-level profiling and system tuning experienceStrong Python with RPC, WebSocket, and smart-contract interactionUnderstanding of perpetuals, liquidations, funding, and microstructureUse low-latency engineering, Python, and crypto market expertise to improve execution quality and control live trading risk.
