In this role, you will assist in designing and improving automotive components while collaborating with Product Designers and manufacturing teams. Your contributions will include reviewing engineering drawings, analyzing product strengths, and developing solutions to enhance functionality. Effective communication with customers regarding product status and engineering changes is key. Key Responsibilities:
- Review engineering drawings and prototypes for product requirements
- Analyze product offerings to improve quality and reduce costs
- Develop solutions for identified product weaknesses
- Liaise with sales for alignment on product specifications
- Maintain accurate product development records
- 3 years experience in the automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of TS16949 and APQP methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management abilities
- Computer proficiency in Word and Excel
