Director of Operations and Maintenance

Lead campus facilities management at the University of Manitoba as the Director of Operations and Maintenance. With over eight years of experience, you will manage facilities operations and multi-disciplinary teams effectively. Your role will involve planning and overseeing critical operational and capital projects while managing budgets and enhancing service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational leadership for campus facilities and infrastructure
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, and recruitment across O&M
• Develop and oversee operational budgets, financial resources, and contracts
• Support long-term asset planning and performance assessments
• Represent O&M in university committees and external forums

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree with engineering designation
• Minimum 8 years in facilities operations and engineering
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams in unionized settings
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
