Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution.
- Monitor and track project progress, adjusting as needed to meet goals.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes using appropriate tools and strategies.
- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts and agreements with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders; prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tenders on appropriate online platforms, and lead the evaluation of submitted bids in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential roadblocks.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain documentation, including reports, logs, and project records.
- Ensure OLCN interests are a priority on all aspects of every project
- Abide by and enforce the OLCN tendering policy
- Attend regular project meetings and provide reports and updates
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in other engineering disciplines may also be considered.
- Proven working experience (3–5 years) in construction project management. Prior experience in project management within a government environment will be highly preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
