OUR OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking 1  Warehouse Picker  to join our team on a contracted position! It will be 3-months, with option to be extended after that.

We have one position available for 30-40 hours/week. The shifts are 8-hours and will be Monday-Friday. Starting wage for this is $18.05/hr, with increases at 4, 8, and 12 months of employment.

50% Order Picking, Packaging and Shipment Preparation

• Pick customer orders for packing and labeling.
• Merge orders in proper skids and cages for shipments.
• Laying out skids for reorders.
• Count quantity of items displayed on the order pick system and place items in boxes or other assigned packing methods according to company productivity standards. Goal is to achieve 99.2% accuracy.
• Efficiently pick, log, address, and label customer orders, strap boxes, and place orders onto skids for merging with other shipments, ensuring the correct quantity and type of products are loaded for delivery. Maintain accurate marker manifest logs and ensure all pieces are accurately addressed, labeled, and skids are stable.
• Assist in preparing and wrapping skids for shipment, docking skids to pallet bulk racks, and ensuring all orders are placed in the correct merge order.

25% Stocking and Inventory Management

• Replenish stock.
• Tag and organize client stock.
• Participate in set-up and tear down of production line, accurately counting inventory and ensuring correct tagging for client stock.
• Stock shelves, organize inventories, set up work area for order picking and bins replenishment. Ensure inventory, products, and work areas are organized and set up according to company standards.

10% Quality Control and Equipment Operation

• Conduct timely quality control checks on production, performing both spot checks and routine inspections, ensuring all quality checks are completed on time and documented as required.
• If authorized, operate equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks, in accordance with safety procedures, ensuring equipment is turned off and secure when not in use. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment, ensuring safe practices are maintained.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1 to 2 related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with HS News Systems (automated packaging and logistics solutions), Radio Frequency (RF)scanners, and Computac (CTAC).
• Able to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
