Senior Project Manager In Engineering

Take charge of capital projects as a Senior Project Manager for Engineering. This position focuses on project management, technical support, and process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing capital projects from conception to commissioning. Key tasks include budget preparation, vendor negotiation, and enhancing plant efficiencies through technological improvements. You’ll provide technical guidance and support in troubleshooting equipment issues while ensuring compliance with governmental approvals.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage capital projects from concept to commissioning - Provide technical support for troubleshooting plant issues - Represent the company in obtaining governmental approvals - Prioritize and assess process improvement opportunities - Foster continuous improvement in manufacturing facilities
Requirements: - Engineering degree required - At least 7 years in technical engineering roles - 5 years managing capital projects - Experience in perishable goods manufacturing preferred - Willingness to travel nationally
