- Mesurer et disposer les pièces en vue de l'assemblage
- Lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, des plans, des graphiques et des tableaux
- Régler et ajuster les machines/outils de production
- Ajuster et assembler les composantes et les pièces détachées de machine pour ajuster les tolérances
- Entretenir, réparer et étalonner des instruments de mesure de précision
- Documenter et relever tout écart par rapport aux spécifications et aux tolérances
- Tenir des dossiers de contrôle et rédiger des rapports d'inspection
- Vérifier les dimensions des outils usinés et des pièces à l'aide d'instruments de mesure de précision (p.ex. micromètre, compas d'épaisseur)
- Régler et utiliser des machines-outils conventionnelles et contrôlées par ordinateur
- Vérifier, à l'aide d'instruments de mesure de précision, si les dimensions des produits sont exactes et conformes aux spécifications
- Certificat de qualification de machiniste
- Certificat en Systèmes d'information sur les matières dangereuses en milieu de travail (SIMDUT)
