SALARY: The hourly rate for this role is $48.87 per hour.

• +$5.00/hour with Instrumentation ticket

Year 2027 - $50.37 per hour

Year 2028 – $51.87 per hour

Year 2029 – $53.37 per hour

OVERTIME ELIGIBILITY: This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule. This i ncludes double time Saturdays, and any hours over 40 at 2.5x on Sundays and statuary holidays.

SHIFT: Rotating shift, Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per shift:

• 6:00am - 4:00pm
• 12:00pm -10:00pm
• 9:00pm - 7:00am

Shift premiums afternoon shift $0.90 per hour and night shift $1.15 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications
• Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembling and reassembling electrical equipment/machinery
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess Journeyman Certification (442A ticket)
• 1 year experience as industrial electrician mandatory; 3 years experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment
• Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Excellent troubleshooting, Demonstrate problem-solving skills and Continuous learning mind set
• Experience in SAP and other CMMS systems as an asset
